1. What tools do you use?
I'm mostly a traditional artist, I use blue pencil, a lightbox, pens, paints, copics.  I use photshop ONLY to rough up layouts and it saves time and paper but I don't use photoshop for anything else so the program itself is not fancy.  I prefer traditional art.  

2. What do you use to color?
All the digital colors in my gallery are colored by colorists I work with.  I list them with the work.  
The traditional colors are Copic Markers.  

3. Did you go to art school?
I did not.  I was fortunate to have artists for parents who taught me the fundamentals but their styles are nothing like mine.  They didn't teach me how to draw like them, they taught me composition and flow. Things like this.  As for learning I had to figure that out on my own.  I studied anatomy, went to figure drawing groups when I could, things of this nature.  Comics was a genre I enjoyed so I worked to improve in this genre.  

4.  How long have you been drawing?
I am not one to say "As long as I can remember."  I always liked to draw, but it was just something I did not something I WORKED at so I never saw improvement until I applied myself and worked at improving.  That time frame would be 2009 - 2011 ish.  So not too long.  But that time frame is the time I took to really study, to force myself to learn.  Example, I used to hate drawing hands but I forced myself to draw them.  

5. What's your favorite thing to draw?
Creatures actually.  LOL!  I know I have a lot of pin ups in my gallery but I enjoy drawing weird critters.  Manbat, Violator and the like. 

6.  Do you take commissions/What are your prices?

7.  Will you draw my tattoo?
No.  I can't prevent you from getting a tattoo of something I've done, if you do--neat!  Please share on my page and let me see but I will not specifically draw up a tattoo.  

8. Can you come to (fill in show here)? 
I'd love to!  I need some time to schedule childcare and see if I can have a buddy, like my husband, come along so for booking please contact my Art Rep, Bob Shaw, and he can see my availability and try to work that out with you!

9.  How do you do all this being a stay at home mom?
LOTS OF COFFEE!!!  Ha!  And I draw at night and durning nap times. 

10.  Do you reference yourself? 
My hands.  A LOT.  I have a ton of pictures of my hands but my face and rest of me, no.  I will do a pose and see if it hurts but I won't look at myself because I will bust out laughing.  Something I never noticed was I do draw my eyes a lot.  But I attribute that to the fact it's the face I see every day and I love to wear eyeliner.  Must transition since I am drawing them almost daily.

SO SORRY!!! 
Holy Craptastic!  I had forgotten my password, my email was going bonkers and I had no way to log back in.  
Needless to say the folks of dA helped me get back here and I was freaking out not having my dA account or having to make another one.  

That being said HELLO!!!!  Glad to be back.  
I've somewhat neglected both dA and Facebook lately.  It's been a madhouse on my end, back to school, Lady Death Cover, sketch cards, sick kids, sick husband and personal health issues that cropped up not to mention a back log of commissions and OH construction.   I think I've just gone bonkers.  This is why I haven't really been online much other than to laugh at stupid videos or post pictures of my kids on my personal Facebook account.  

I DO have plans though.  See, all this silence has not been for nothing.  I've been a busy little bee and planning for 2015.  
I plan for 2015 to be MY year.  Yes, it will be mine in all it's glory.  I'll do more conventions--so if you want me there as a guest please contact me now so I can plan!  I have some prints, books, things planned up, and I can't wait to get the ball rolling again.  My health is ok.  I'm dealing with things and have no idea why I'm SO lethargic but I've just been to the doctor and I'm being run through a whole gamut of tests to get me on my feet again and not the chug 15 cups a coffee a day just to stay awake.  

First things first to announce!  I'm going to have a calendar next year!  Yep.  That's right!  I will.  
Expect the first pin up to come up soon!  I have the wonderful Kate Finnegan coloring my 13 pin ups (Cover included in that number if you're wondering) and it will be with my sense of humor.  

So expect to see that!  It's coming I'm looking at the roughs now!  I can't wait.  
I'll also post my commissions as I get to them.  No, I don't have commissions open right now, I'm swamped with them as it is and I'm SUPER slow.

Wow, C2E2 was a blast!  I had a ball seeing friends and meeting new folks. 
I really enjoyed being around other creative people.  Only sad part, my husband wasn't there.  T^T  He would have had fun as well.  But there is Phoenix!  YAY!  

So now gearing up for FCBD.  I will be in Tuscaloosa at Sho'Nuff Comics for a bit of the day.
